Natural, Realistic Daily Makeup Routine April 2017

Hello everyone!
If you haven't already noticed I have taken a little break from my blog. But I am now hoping to be posting as regular as I can!
But today I am going to be sharing with you my Daily Makeup Routine for April 2017. I know I did do one of these a few months ago, I think it  was January, but some of the products have changed a little so I thought I would share it with you!

To start off with I always moisturise my face, I find that my makeup sits better on my face if I do. So to do that I use the Nivea Daily Express Primer. I know its a primer but its so moisturizing so I use it as a moisturizer! I have the one for dry skin because I'm more on the dry side but I know you can get one for normal skin but I'm not to sure about oily skin, you'll have to go and have a little browse!

So I just get a tiny pea sized amounts on the tips of my finger and just rub it all over my face. Before I do anything else I will just let this fully sink in!

Even though the moisturizer I  use is a primer I do still prime my face. I use the Benefit Porefessinal. I find this really help keep your makeup on all day. even though it does fill your pores your skin can still breath through it.

I just put a tiny, tiny amount  on my finger tips and the bend it into my T-zone, because I find that I where my pores are slightly bigger.

On a day to day basis I don't use a foundation, I usually go for a BB (beauty balm) or a CC (colour correcting) cream. because I find that there a lot lighter but you can still get a decent amount of coverage.

The BB cream I like to use is the GOSH cosmetics BB cream. I feel that this just gives a very fresh looking base. and its not too heavy but its easy buildable, which is great! the only thing that annoys me Is the shades. so I got the palest shade which is a little bit too light for me, but shade 2 is so much darker, I think they need a shade in the middle. but what I do just make it a bit darker with bronzer, so it works fine!

So I squeeze a little bit on the back of my hand and blend it in with the Real Techniques expert face brush. I usually only do one layer, this gives a light coverage but as I said you can build it up.

For concealer I use the NYX HD Studio Photogenic concealer in shade 02 Fair. I've been using this concealer everyday since January and I'm still so in love with it. it has such a luxurious formula and its not too heavy but it has a nice amount of coverage. I find that shade 02 is slightly lighter than shade 01? I don't know if that's just me but I thought I should just let you know!

I put this under my eyes in triangle shapes, and on all the other high points on my face to highlight a little bit and then I blend it in with a Beauty Blender.

To set my flawless base I use the Bourjois Paris Silk Edition powder compact. I think this sets my make up perfectly but without making you look really matte. As it says it makes your face look really silky and flawless but it doesn't look powdery, cakey, just flawless!

I use a Real Techniques Setting Brush and I jut set my makeup under my eyes forehead and chin.

I also use another powder but I use the Sleek Luminous powder because it doesn't make your face matter its sets it and makes it look really glowy and it makes your skin look really healthy!

I use the Real Techniques powder brush and I just sweep it all over my face.

I then like to bronze up my face a little bit. So for bronzer I use the Bourjois Paris Bronzing Powder. I love this SO much. its not too warm too cool toned for a bronzer its just a perfect shade for me. it also smell like chocolate, lie its two of my fave things makeup and chocolate in one. what else could I ask for?!

I use a Real Techniques (yet again) blusher brush and I just bronzer the hollows on my cheeks and my forehead.

For highlighter I don't like to go too crazy because I have such a natural base. SO I just use the highlighter the French Connection contour kit, which you all know I love! it just gives a natural glow and its really pretty!

I don't even know what brand of brush it is but I just use a fan brush and apply the highlighter on my check bones, tip of my nose and cupids bow.

Now onto eyebrows I use the Soap and Glory brow archery in the shade Dark Chocolate. its the perfect shade for me because its not warm toned but not really cool toned. its just perfect! the consistency is so creamy but not too creamy. its really easy to use and I just find that you can go for a more natural brow or a stronger brow if you wanted. I love it!!!

So I just apply this in little hair like stokes going darker and fuller towards the tail of my brow.

I then just come some of the Benefit Ready, Set, Brow through my brows. I like to kind of feather it out so my brows look really full and fluffy.

I don't use eyeshadow day to day so I just got straight onto mascara. I like to use the Maybelline Colossal Cat Eyes mascara. it makes my lashes look really fluttery. you do just have to be careful because if you put too much on it can go a little clumpy.

I just apply this to my top lashes after I've curled them, and if I'm feeling like it I will just coat my bottom lashes with it to make them look darker.

and that is my daily makeup routine!
